How these are built

A few rules that hold across every app.

Native, or not at all SwiftUI and AppKit against the current SDK, compiled for Apple Silicon rather than ported to it, using the system design language instead of imitating it. No web view pretending to be an app.
The work happens on your machine Conversion, indexing, scanning and inference run locally. Recall ships with no network entitlement at all — the proof is architectural, not a promise in a privacy policy.
Show the command If an app does something on your behalf, it says exactly what. Cellar prints the brew command; Sweep vetoes every path before it removes anything; Bellrock shows the numbers a finding was measured from.
A number on screen is measured or absent Nothing is estimated into looking better than it is. If a figure can't be measured, the space says so instead of inventing one.
Verified by testing, not by reading Every app carries checks for the specific ways it has failed before — adversarial path assertions, offscreen renders, real command output. The bugs worth catching are the ones that look fine.
